Athletics Federation of Uzbekistan and TravelSport sign cooperation memorandum
The Athletics Federation of Uzbekistan and TravelSport Global Management have signed a memorandum establishing a framework for long-term cooperation on national-team training camps, accommodation, nutrition and international event support.
The Athletics Federation of Uzbekistan and TravelSport Global Management signed a memorandum of cooperation on 3 July 2026. The document establishes a framework for a long-term strategic partnership supporting the preparation of Uzbekistan’s national athletics team and future international sports projects.
A framework for long-term cooperation
The memorandum brings together the federation’s sporting objectives and TravelSport’s experience in coordinating international training camps, accommodation and on-the-ground operations.
The partnership is designed to give athletes, coaches and official delegations a clear and coordinated support structure throughout preparation and competition-related travel.
Five areas of cooperation
The memorandum identifies five principal areas in which the Athletics Federation of Uzbekistan and TravelSport intend to work together:
- Organisation of training camps for the Uzbekistan national team
- Selection of modern sports facilities and training bases
- Accommodation for athletes, coaches and official delegations
- Sports nutrition and the supporting infrastructure required by the team
- End-to-end support for international sporting events
One coordinated preparation and recovery system
TravelSport combines professional training venues, team accommodation, sports nutrition, local logistics and its own TravelSport Recovery Center within one operating model.
For federations and national teams, this approach keeps the practical elements of a training camp connected to the sporting plan while giving athletes access to both preparation and recovery support.
Trust and shared ambitions
TravelSport regards the memorandum as an important expression of trust from one of Central Asia’s established athletics organisations.
The company thanked the Athletics Federation of Uzbekistan and the federation’s vice-chairman, Nizomjon Tukhtaboev, for their confidence and contribution to the agreement.
