Sukhrob Khodjaev and Anvar Anvarov on the podium: three golds and a bronze for Uzbekistan
Sukhrob Khodjaev and Anvar Anvarov reached the Asian Games podium after preparation stages supported by TravelSport, while Sharifa Davronova and Barnokhon Sayfullaeva completed Uzbekistan’s four-medal athletics campaign.

Uzbekistan completed the athletics programme at the Aichi-Nagoya 2026 Asian Games with four medals: three golds and one bronze. The medallists included Sukhrob Khodjaev and Anvar Anvarov, whose preparation featured training camps supported by TravelSport, as well as champions Sharifa Davronova and Barnokhon Sayfullaeva.
Four medals for Uzbekistan
Uzbekistan finished the Asian Games athletics competition with gold medals in the women’s triple jump, men’s hammer throw and women’s high jump, plus bronze in the men’s long jump.
Three golds and one bronze placed Uzbekistan fifth in the official athletics medal table. The four medals also showed the breadth of the national team’s performance across jumping and throwing events.
Sukhrob Khodjaev: gold after the final preparation camp in Belek
Sukhrob Khodjaev won the men’s hammer throw with 74.38 metres. Before travelling to the Asian Games, he completed the final stage of his preparation in Belek, where TravelSport coordinated the training environment, accommodation, logistics and recovery support.
The sporting achievement belongs to Sukhrob and his coaches. TravelSport’s role was to organise the conditions around their work so that the athlete and his team could stay focused on preparation.

- Silver — Shota Fukuda, Japan: 71.78 m
- Bronze — Mohammed Aldubaisi, Saudi Arabia: 71.53 m
Anvar Anvarov: bronze, one centimetre from silver
Anvar Anvarov secured bronze in the men’s long jump with 8.06 metres. He finished only one centimetre behind the silver medallist and 11 centimetres from gold.
In August and September, Anvarov trained at Gloria Sports Arena in Belek during a camp supported by TravelSport. Athletics facilities, accommodation, logistics and recovery were coordinated in one programme around the work of the athlete and his coaches.

Sharifa Davronova: a second Asian Games title
Sharifa Davronova won the women’s triple jump with a personal best of 14.35 metres. The victory brought her a second Asian Games title in the event and delivered Uzbekistan’s first athletics gold of Aichi-Nagoya 2026.

Barnokhon Sayfullaeva: gold with a personal best
Barnokhon Sayfullaeva cleared 1.90 metres, set a personal best and won the women’s high jump. Her victory extended Uzbekistan’s run to five consecutive Asian Games titles in this event.
